Adina Birnabum
FOUNDER AND CEO
Adina’s entrepreneurial journey started on Grateful Dead tour in the 1980’s while following the band around the country selling hippie clothing out of her VW van. By the mid 90’s her and her business partners moved on to open a small chain of retail boutiques in Philadelphia and New Jersey. In 2017 she applied for and received a dispensary license in Pennsylvania. As part of a group she opened a dispensary there as CEO.
She eventually decided to move on from that venture and come to the Ocean State, where Talaria was born. Adina is proud to head the states first woman owned cultivation, specializing in beautiful hand trimmed flower grown with care and compassion. -
Eve Ruisi
HEAD GROWER
A Rhode Island local and University of Rhode Island Graduate, Eve transitioned fully into the cultivation industry in 2020. Having a natural talent with the plants and years of home experience, she quickly found her stride. She joined our Talaria team at the start of 2023 and has been leading the gardening operation since shortly there after.
Over this last year she has put in so much work behind the scenes to help us make our plants better than ever. Thanks for all you do Eve! -
Sasha Gorski
CO-OWNDER AND COO
In 2019 Sasha graduated with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lafayette
College. After spending some time as a patient care coordinator at a Pennsylvania dispensary, she headed to Rhode Island to help her mother and team launch the Talaria brand. Sasha wears many hats (and hair nets) here at the cultivation. She has used her engineering and project management skills to schedule, organize and to hone the cultivation arm of the business, has spearheaded marketing and is responsible for all of the beautiful packaging and the brand aesthetic. Sasha is now in the stages of developing new products. Keep an eye out for new things on the horizon!
